Been a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Simulation Consortium which has run two national wide simulation projects. This has involved developing research questions, grant applications, budgetary management, running the projects, evaluation of the projects, development of the simulations. The initial nationwide randomized controlled trials involved partnerships with other universities and organizations through an Australian Research Council Linkage grant. The findings of this study lead to scoping work and then a national project funded by Health Workforce Australia to implement simulation into physiotherapy programs within Australia to replace part of clinical education time. I was a member of all projects and the project lead at JCU. This has involved coordination of employment, funds and roll out of the projects. Face to face, teleconferences and videoconferencing were used to facilitate the nationwide project. I have also been a project lead at JCU for implementation and capacity building for simulation across the health disciplines.
